Using 3d space to create a 2d looking piece of work. I think this method of working is really intersting and sometimes can surprise people as the work would be unrocgonisable if looked at form a different angle.

Dan Tobin Smith uses colours and lighting to create the most effective final piece.

In the second piece I love the fact that the space is completely occupied by normal everyday objects painted in white.

the typeface was inspired by guitar tabs, chord boes and musical notes.

London based illustrator this project was for the magazine Computer Arts.

The letterforms are made out of smaller shapes and placed on a white wall.
This is a very effective use of typography to send a message across to the audience. The typework is playful and straight to the point. I can imagine it also wokring in a different location, may be somewhere outdoor so the work can be left to wear out.

i'm not sure if this was part of a campaign to help the environment but even without that information, the work itself really is self explainatary

These installation really communicaes a message wihtout needing any words which i think is very effective and clever

The artist simply cuts out a tree shape out of a toilet paper roll and I can immediately relate to it,
